Alice Mae Schubert, age 91 of Stockton, IL, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. She was born September 22, 1923 in Pleasant Valley Township; the daughter of the late John and Laura (Bartch) Beck. She attended Deeds School in Pleasant Valley. Alice married Paul Randecker one June 19, 1943; he died on June 13, 1971. She married Leland Schubert on September 6, 1972; he died on February 7, 2007. She celebrated 25 ^th wedding anniversaries with both Paul and Leland.

Alice farmed all her life and loved taking care of her flock of sheep. She was a member of the Church of God in Pleasant Valley. She was also a member of the Yankee Hollow Missionary and enjoyed going for coffee and breakfast with her fellow members. She also enjoyed bowling, playing Uno, gardening, crocheting afghans, and embroidery. Alice and Leland loved to travel and took many bus trips. She loved spending time with her family, especially attending birthday dinners.

She is survived by her son, Larry (Tresa Wilkinson) Randecker of Stockton; grandchildren: Brian Randecker and his children, Courtney, Brittany, Alyssa, & Jon; Todd (Melinda) Randecker and their children, Stacey and her daughter Aubrey, and Stephanie; LeAnne (Troy) Christians and their children, Ethan & Lane; Steven (Tricia) Randecker and their children, Tasha, Noel, & Colten; and Richard Randecker and his son, Zack; step-son, Ray (Anne) Schubert of Freeport, IL; sister, Dorothy (Donald) Mapes of Stockton; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Paul and Leland; and daughter-in-law, Melody.

The funeral service will be held Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established.
