Allen F. Breuning 84 of rural Elizabeth died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at home. He was born November 28, 1926 in Pleasant Valley Twp. the son of the late John & Mary (Randecker) Breuning. He married Neta Rothenbuehler on September 17, 1958 in Oregon IL. Allen was confirmed at Good Hope Lutheran Church and was a member at Trinity Lutheran Church in Derinda Twp. He had served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Allen was a life long farmer and enjoyed playing cards, working with his Kabota tractor and Bulldozer especially knocking down trees. He also enjoyed his dog Gidget. He is survived by his wife Neta, Four Dauaghter's; Deborah Wunsch of Yorkville, IL, Pat Anderson of Mt Carroll, IL, Pam (John) Albrecht of Mt. Carroll, IL & Tina Breuning of Savanna, IL, Two Son's; Bill (Colleen) Breuning of Elizabeth, IL & John (Jana) Breuning of Elizabeth, IL., Sister Lillian Haas of Stockton, IL, Brother John Breuning Jr of Savanna IL, 7 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandaughter Khloey & sister Margaret Groezinger. A private memorial service was held. A memorial fund has been established.
