Audrey Adleman , age 84, of Stockton, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1938 in Lafayette Co., WI to the late William and Geneva (Bright) Mau. Audrey married Merle Adleman on December 1, 1956 in Warren, IL. Merle passed away May 8, 2013.

Audrey was a 1956 graduate of Warren High School. She had worked as a CNA for Morgan Memorial Nursing Home in Stockton and did payroll for Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Mt. Carroll for 30 years. Audrey was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton where she served on many committees. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning and playing cards with her lifelong friends. Most of all, Audrey loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Tamra (Randy) Kryder and Cindy (Mark) Spittler; her grandchildren, Adam (Karen) Kryder and their children, Cameron, Addison and Brayden; Kelsey (Curtis) Goeke and their children, Audra and Lydia; Karen (Nathan) Hensal and their children, Andrew and Jacob; and her brothers, Thomas (Carol) Mau and Larry (Betty) Mau. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Gerald and Buddy Mau; and her sister, Shelby Broge.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
