Harry "Bill" Verdon Jr ., age 69 of Stockton, IL passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at home. He was born in Toledo, OH to the late Harry and Laura (Meinhart) Verdon. Bill married Sharon Sharp on January 26, 1985 in Farwell, MI.

He graduated from Farwell High School and later attended Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, WI.  Bill retired from Stockton Cheese and went to work for NSF International doing food and Safety Audits. Bill loved to cook and was often referred to as a food critic. He enjoyed  golfing, fishing, traveling and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He also adored his three dogs.

Bill is survived by his wife, Sharon of Stockton; sons, Corey (Michelle) Verdon of Farwell, MI and Darrin (Lisa) Glass of Stockton; his daughter, Chris Glass (Jaime) of Farwell, MI; his grandchildren, Devon, Maykala, D.J., Morgan, Hunter, Keegan (Liz), Tony, Madison, Mauricio, Isaha, Noah, and Romel; his great granddaughter, Grace; his sisters, Laura (Milan) Grossett, Barb (Will) Tipton, and Mary (Robert) Armstrong, all of MI; his brother-in-law, Jeff (Rose) Sharp; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chuck;  sister, Sara and his beloved dog Rocky.
