Cynthia Kay Paisley (Smith), age 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family September 29, 2011, after a courageous 7-year battle with breast cancer. Born October 28, 1958, Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Walter, children Paige, Morgan, and Grant, step mother Barbara Smith, sisters LuAnn (Brian) Talsma, Deana (Michael) Kinzler, Chris (Casey) Cherry, brothers Richard (Judy) Smith and Steven (Tony) Lantz. Several nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and many special friends also survive.
She is preceded in death by her son, William, and her parents, C. Deane Smith and Mary Coleman Smith.
Cindy held various jobs during the course of her lifetime, but her favorite and most important, was being a wife and mother. Cindy was an amazing woman with love and enthusiasm for life like no other. Morgan said it best, 'Cindy gave me the meaning of the word love and spread it better than anyone I know and helped me to realize that love is forever.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held Thursday, October 6, 2011, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Woodbine Bend Golf Course, 3500 East Center Road, Stockton, IL. Services private.
