Debra Lynn Andersen, age 64 of Stockton, IL, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport. She was born September 1, 1954 in Chicago, IL; the daughter of Deloris (Summers) and Lawrence R. Jones. She graduated from Gage Park High School. She went on to graduate from Chicago Circle College and Little Company of Mary Hospital Nursing School. Deb married Kenneth Andersen on June 9, 1985.

She had been a nurse for 41 years and spent the last 8 years working at Midwest Medical ER in Galena, IL. She enjoyed wildlife rehabilitation, horses and gardening. Most of all she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Andersen of Stockton; step-sons, Erik (Laura) Andersen of Mokena, IL and Brian (Kathleen) Andersen of Manhattan, IL; step-grandchildren, Brian, Britney, Michael, and Jacob; brother, Larry (Laura) Jones of Cocoa, FL; and longtime friends, Sue Ellen Roberts and Carol Holding. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lance Jones.

A visitation will take place on Friday, February 1 ^st from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. A memorial service will follow beginning at 5:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.hermannfuneralhome.com.
