Deloris I. Ertmer, age 82 of Stockton, IL, died Friday, August 03, 2012 at the Stockton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 20, 1929, the daughter of Raymond and Rose (Mougin) Korte. Deloris married Eldon Ertmer on January 11, 1950 in Stockton, he died January 23, 1997.
She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church of Stockton. Deloris enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and canning. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her five sons; Mike (Sandi) Ertmer of Stockton, Steve Ertmer of Stockton, Dan (Lori) Ertmer of Stockton, Joe Ertmer of Stockton, and Paul Ertmer of Stockton; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 brothers and sisters.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son David, and one sister.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. A Rosary Service take place before the visitation beginning at 4:30 PM. The funeral service will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Father Dean Smith presiding. Internment will be at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established for the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
