Donald C. Klaas, age 87 of Stockton, IL, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Stockton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Stockton. Donald was born February 21, 1925, the son of Charles and Mabel (Wise) Klaas.

Don always lived on the home farm near Kent, IL and enjoyed attending Stockton football games with his special friend, the late Gladys Hess. His most special book was the Bible.

He is survived by two sisters, Ruby Hakimi of Frisco, TX and Pauline Richey of Smithville, AR; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents and friend Gladys.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton, the Rev. Bob Zidziarski presiding. There will be a one hour visitation held before the service beginning at 2:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established.
