Donna Marie Hintz, age 82 of Stockton, IL, died July 17, 2011 at the Stockton Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Donna was born December 29, 1927, the daughter of the late Raymond and Rose (Mougin) Korte. She married the late Kermit Menzmer who died June 24, 1962. On December 30, 1965 she married her husband Mervin Hintz.
Donna was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton. She enjoyed cleaning, cooking, and basket sewing.
Donna is survived by her husband Mervin; four sons, Gary Menzmer of Stockton, Keith (Jo) Menzemer of Warren, IL, Randy Menzemer of Stockton, and Kevin Menzemer of Warren, IL; five sisters, Delores Ertmer of Stockton, Lenore (Don) Jackson of Santa Ana, CA, Rita (Darrell) Oar of Hartland, WI, Shelby (Jim) Young of Apopka, FL, and Sherry (Dick) Holland of Grapevine, TX; and six brothers Harold (Carol) Korte of Apple River, IL, William (Colleen) Korte of Stockton, Robert (Sharon) Korte of Rockford, IL, Don (Dianne) Korte of Warren, IL, Roland Korte of Warren, IL, and Dick (Linda) Korte of Lena, IL She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Kermit.
A funeral service will be held Thursday July 21, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton, the Rev. Susan Davenport presiding. There will be a one hour visitation before the funeral service beginning at 9:30 AM at the church. Burial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, IL.
