Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Donna Kay Ratzlaff, 66, of Rockford passed away Friday July 20 th 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on October 9 th , 1951, in Elizabeth, Illinois to Victor and Wilma Pieper (Nadig).
She graduated from Stockton High School in 1969. Donna married the love of her life, David Ratzlaff, on October 27 th 1984. She was employed by Green Giant/General Mills for thirty-four years. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching hummingbirds and loved tending to her flowers. One of her favorite things to do was to visit her family in Stockton. Whenever she visited her Pieper family she had so much fun. She loved to dance and play the slots. Her laughter and smile brightened the room. Family was very important to Donna, and she cherished everyone.
She is survived by sons Brian (Amy) Winslow and Travis (Rebecca) Winslow; daughter Tanya (Todd) Hall; very special grandchildren Kristen, Ryan, Katrina, Caiden, David, TJ, Ariana, Kian, and Cooper; sisters Dixie (Jack) Beyer, Diane (Jim) Burris, Cheri Stich (Russ Myers), Vicki Aden (Tim Castle), Judy (John) McAuliffe and Jan Pieper; brother Butch Pieper (Jolene Curran); as well as numerous nieces and nephews; her special friend Dawn Legaspi and companion Joe Dover.
Predeceased by her parents Victor and Wilma Pieper; husband David Ratzlaff; brothers Chuck, Gary, Rod, Bruce, and Jerry; nephews Jody and Nick.
Memorial services will be held Saturday August 4 th 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 600 N Main Street, Stockton, IL 61085. Burial will be held at Ladies Union Cemetery afterwards in Stockton, Illinois.
