Dorothy L. Hill , age 90, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017.  She was born in Rockford, IL on June 18, 1927 to the late Alvin and Blanche (Lampman) Spavin.  Dorothy was married to Robert W. Hill on December 8, 1946.  He passed away on January 20, 2004.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Unitarian-Universalist Church in Stockton and the Order of the Eastern Star, Stockton chapter.  She was a bookkeeper at the local car dealership for many years.  She enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, sewing, cooking, baking and reading.

She is survived by her son, David (Laurie) Hill of Rockford and her daughter Linda (Bill) Parrilli of Naperville as well as three grandchildren; Aaron Hill of Austin, TX and Jason Hill and Corrine Hill of Rockford.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Blanche; her husband, Robert; her brother, Johnny; her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Pauline; her nephew, John Herbert; her mother and father in law, Florence and Will Hill: and her son, Lawrence Robert Hill.
