Edwin E. Yeoman 88 of Stockton died Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Stephenson Nursing Center. He was born May 6, 1926 in Pearl City, IL the son of the late Edwin & Vida (Earnest) Yeoman. He married Jackie Graff on November 6, 1948 in Freeport; she died December 1, 2011.
He was a member of Willow United Methodist Church, farmed all of his life and enjoyed fishing, morel hunting and gardening. He is survived by his daughter Sarah (Dennis) Janicke of Kent; 4-sons, Spencer (Ruth) Yeoman of Davis, Eric (Lisa) Yeoman of Pearl City, John Yeoman of Stockton and Andrew Yeoman of Freeport; Sister, Betty Kerr of Washington, IL; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and sister-in-law, Janice Peltz of Fargo, ND. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 daughters; Jody Wool & infant Barbara and a grandson Derek Gruber.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton where visitation will begin an hour before at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the Kent Lutheran Cemetery in Kent IL. A memorial fund has been established.
