Elizabeth 'BetteMoll 87 of Shannon died peacefully at home Monday, March 26, 2012. She was born November 6, 1924 in Mexico, MO, the daughter of Everett and Jessie (Franks) Green. Bette was a 1942 graduate of Mexico High School. She married Sheldon Moll on October 22, 1950 in Kansas City, KS.
Bette had done the record keeping for her husband's farm. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon, IL. She was active with her children, including Cub Scouts and 4-H. Bette liked having coffee with friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her cats and being outdoors.
Bette is survived by her husband; daughter, Shelley Moll of Freeport, IL; son, Stuart Moll of Shannon, IL; brother, David (Mary) Green of Centralia, MO; and two granddaughters, Morgan Moll and Annaliese Moll.
She is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, twins Mildred and Marie Green and Darlene Green; and two brothers, Everett Jr. and Elmer Green.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 30, 2012 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Shannon, IL. A graveside service will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL at 1:30 PM. A memorial fund has been established.
