Gary Michael Saiger , age 59, of Stockton, IL passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital in Rockford. He was born in Chicago, IL on June 2, 1966. Gary married Lori Gardner on July 23, 2021.

Gary was a 1984 graduate of Bloom Trail High School. He went on to serve in the U.S. Army from 1985-1989. Gary had many jobs throughout the years and enjoyed all of them. He loved the Chicago Cubs and Bears, music, and sasquatch. He never had an enemy and loved everyone he met.

Gary is survived by his wife, Lori Saiger of Stockton; his daughter, Jamie Saiger of Colorado; his son, Jake Halsted of Colorado; his brothers, Keith (Gina) Saiger of Freeport and Peter Saiger; his sister, Julie (Chad) King of Wausau, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Gail; and his dog, Gemmy.

A celebration of life visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
