Gregory "Mike" Ertmer , age 69 of Stockton, IL passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born October 2, 1950 in Freeport to the late Eldon and Delores (Korte) Ertmer. Mike married Sandi Hacker on May 24, 1985 at Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton.

Mike was a 1968 graduate of Stockton High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the Stockton VFW. Mike retired after working 27 years at Kelly Springfield. He was an avid Packers and Notre Dame fan and enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with his family.

Mike is survived by his wife, Sandi Ertmer; his daughters, Erin (Aaron) Rang and Jennifer (Jim) Lyons; his son, Anthony Ertmer; his grandsons, Jeremy Ertmer and Troy Rees; and his brothers, Steve Ertmer, Dan (Lori) Ertmer, Joe Ertmer and Paul Ertmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, David Ertmer.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
