Harrison "Harry" L. Rowland, age 82 of Shannon, IL passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Liberty Village Manor Court. He was born on January 6, 1935 to the late Floyd and Geraldine (Martz) Rowland. Harrison married Shirley Crouse in April of 1957. She passed away in 2007.

Harrison worked at Microswitch for many years and was a long time farmer in the Shannon area. He enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time. He also enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. He attended Grace Fellowship Church in Freeport.

He is survived by his brother, Dawson Rowland of Amboy, IL; sister, Shirley Hagemann of Mt. Morris, IL; Uncle Robert Rowland of Freeport, IL; Aunt Alice Rebuck of Polo, IL and many nephews and one niece. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Geraldine and his wife, Shirley.
