Helen L. Waropay , age 89 of Freeport, IL died on December 2, 2017. She was born on September 29, 1928 to Earl and Catherine List in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  She graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School and was employed in the Accounting Department at The American Tobacco Co. in New York City. She married Vincent M. Waropay of Hastings in Hudson, NY on June 17, 1950.

They lived in Dobbs Ferry where sons Roger (deceased) and Robert were born.  They moved to Wethersfield, Connecticut in 1961 and then to Naperville, IL in 1964.  Helen and Vince retired to Lake Carroll, IL in 1990. Helen and Vince have two Grandsons, Brad Waropay (Tempe, AZ) and Joe Waropay (Chicago, IL) and one Great Granddaughter Maeve.  Helen is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Kitty, Florence and Dorothy and her husband Vincent.
