Henrietta K. Heeren of Shannon, IL went to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Henrietta was born on May 2, 1927, the daughter of Bertus and Klasina (Williams) Winch. She married John Heeren on January 10, 1945 in Forreston, IL. John passed away February 12, 2010.

Henrietta, along with her husband John, owned and operated Gambles/Heeren Hardware in Shannon for 20 years after leaving the farm.

She will be dearly missed by two daughters, Evelyn Stoner of Freeport and Marilyn (Steve) Miller of Shannon; one son, Jerry Heeren of Milledgeville; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Alfred, Walter, and Myron Winch.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL following the luncheon. A memorial fund has been established for Allure of Mt. Carroll.
