Jacqueline 'Jackie J. Yeoman, age 81 of Stockton, IL died Thursday December 1, 2011 at her home. She was born May 7, 1930, the daughter of Orville and Mildred (Weber) Graff. She married Edwin Yeoman on November 6, 1948 in Freeport, IL.
Jackie was a member of Willow United Methodist Church in Stockton, and worked in the kitchen during the Willow Folk Festival for many years. She was also a member of the Greenvale Neighborhood Club. She cooked at Sully's Kitchen in Stockton, worked at Cano's Restaurant, Rawleigh and Furst McNess, she and her husband owned and operated Grandpa & Grandma's Antiques in Stockton and the China Closet in Pearl City, and she was co-owner of DJ's Antiques in Lena. Jackie enjoyed antiques, flea markets, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Jackie is survived by her husband Edwin; daughter Sara (Dennis) Janicke of Kent, IL; four sons, Spencer (Ruth) Yeoman of Davis, IL, Eric (Lisa) Yeoman of Pearl City, IL, John Yeoman of Stockton, IL, and Andrew Yeoman of Freeport, IL; sister Janice Peltz of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law Betty Kerr of Washington, IL; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Jody Wool, and infant Barbara; grandson Derek Gruber; and brother Bob Wittbecker.
A visitation will be held on Sunday December 4, 2011 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. The funeral service will be Monday December 5, 2011 at 10:30 AM also at the funeral home, the Rev. Paul Fritz presiding. Burial will take place at Kent Lutheran Cemetery in Kent, IL.
