James "Jay" William Brandel , age 64, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Allure of Stockton. He was born in Elgin, IL on August 7, 1961 to the late Olen and Ruth (Hacker) Brandel. Jay grew up in Cary, IL.

Jay loved Corvettes, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, music, animals, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Harley and Mason (Tina); his sister, Laurie (Jim) Brenner; his nephews, Nathan, Shane and Chase; and his niece, Brooke. He was preceded in death by his parents.
