STOCKTON, IL John Karl Krahenbuehl 89 of Stockton died Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Stockton Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. He was born January 21, 1922 in Monroe, WI the son of the late John & Mary Ann (McCool) Krahenbuehl. John married Imogene Jeanette Zink on October 19, 1938 in Massbach, she died March 13, 2009. He had farmed in Massbach until 1969 and moved to Stockton and worked at the JoDaviess County Service Company. He was a Member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Massbach. John enjoyed fishing, yard work and repairing things. He is survived by his daughter Ruth (Warren) Heimerdinger of Stockton, Grandson; John (Trish) Heimerdinger of Downs, IL, 2-Great Grandchildren; Josh & Sarah of Downs IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, 2-Sisters; Jane Gutzmer & Rose Gage. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton where Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Rev. Lee Luebke will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John' Lutheran Cemetery in Massbach. A memorial fund has been established for St John's Lutheran Church and the American Heart Association.
