Judith F. Baber, age 78 of Stockton, IL, passed away at home on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was born February 18, 1939; the daughter of the late Roy and Edna (Farrey) Downs. She married James Baber on November 7, 1959; he passed on June 9, 2008.

Judy loved to cook, which she did for several local restaurants including the Stockton Country Club, Village Inn and the Bottle Shed. She wall papered and painted with her sisters for several people in Stockton and several of the surrounding communities. Judy was a good bowler and played on a league with her sisters called the Sisterettes. She also enjoyed softball, golfing, gardening, canning, playing cards, crafting and dancing. She loved watching her grandchildren's sporting events.

Judy is survived by her sons, Rick of Lena, IL, Greg (Lynn) of Monmouth, IL, Todd (Kim) of Stockton, and Andy (Jodie) of Mt Horeb, WI; daughter, Sally (Tom) Priola of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Ashley, Jarret, Jacob, Natalie, Wyatt & Kamden, Maggie & Matthew, and Willie & Ella; great grandchildren, Jace & Jett; and sisters, Joyce Zeal, Donna Feltmeyer and June Dawson all of Warren, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; brother, Kenneth "Sonny"; and sisters, Velma Bitz, Hazel Pierce, Phyllis Schiess, Alice Brown, and Ruby Phillips.
