Kathleen M. Rillie , age 81, of Stockton, IL passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Allure of Stockton. She was born in Freeport, IL on May 17, 1944 to the late Clarence and Delores (McNeely) Kuhl. Kathy married Jerry Rillie on December 28, 1963. Jerry passed away August 11, 2021.

Kathy graduated from Holy Cross Catholic Grade School in 1958, Stockton High School in 1962 and Highland LPN Class of 1982. She had worked for the Stockton Nursing Home, the Lena Nursing Home and retired in 2010 from the Elizabeth Nursing Home. She and Jerry had spent some time in Virginia while he was in the U.S. Army and spent the rest of their lives in Stockton. Kathy enjoyed traveling with Jerry to Ireland, Great Britain (especially Scotland), Germany and the Czech Republic.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Teresa) and their sons, Jeremy and Justin, and Joseph (Stacey) and their son, Robert; her brothers, Duane (Barb) Kuhl and Dennis (Barb) Kuhl; and her sister, Joyce (Shawn) Scott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Kathy's friend Anita Floen for being her caregiver and support while at home.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon at noon. A memorial fund has been established.
