Keith E. Mercer, age 53 of Stockton, IL, died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at home. He was born October 8, 1959, the son of Keith and Alberta (Potter) Mercer. He married Lori Starr on June 14, 1981 in Stockton.
Keith enjoyed fixing things and working with his hands. He loved spending time with his family, especially holding his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Lori; two daughters, Trista (Zachary) David and Jennifer Marks; two sons, Tony (Anna) Mercer and Martin Marks; five grandchildren, Abigale, Aadilynn, & Anestyn David and Payne & Breyen Mercer; and his mother Alberta.
He is preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Nathan & Mark.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 1:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established.
