Larry Lee Hubb , age 62, of Stockton, IL passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026 at his home. He was born in Freeport, IL on March 10, 1964 to the late Roger and Eileen (Croffoot) Hubb. Larry married Leisa Schnitzler on August 8, 1987 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Derinda, IL.
He was a 1982 graduate of Stockton High School. Larry was a lifelong farmer who loved his job. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Stockton, Antique Tractor Pullers, Winter Warriors and Region 6 Snowmobile Clubs, Jo Daviess Beef Association and FFA Alumni. Larry also served on the Elizabeth Fair Board and the 4-H Auction Committee. He loved farming, tractor pulls, and hockey games. Most of all, he was a proud dad who enjoyed watching his sons' extracurricular activities.
Larry is survived by his wife, Leisa; his sons, Kyle and Karl; his father and mother-in-law, Marvin (Elizabeth) Schnitzler; his brother-in-law, Roger (Sandra) Schnitzler; his sisters-in-law, Karen Koester, Sheila (Branden) Alexander, Marla (John) Todd and Debra Hubb; several nieces and nephews; and his God Children, Logan Smith, Isabella Schnitzler, Dylan Alexander and Adam Hubb. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Alan Hubb; his nephew, Tyler Hubb; and his brother-in-law, Dan "Boots" Koester.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026 also at Christ Lutheran Church from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
