Laurie Coglianese
, age 63 of Warren, IL, passed away at home Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was born May 14, 1952; the daughter of Dragoslav and Barbara (Filips) Jankovic. She married Al Coglianese on September 13, 1969.
Laurie helped her husband Al operate Rt. 78 Auto Parts and worked at Atwood Automotive. She had also delivered papers for the Elgin Daily Courier. She enjoyed going to the Boat, working crossword puzzles, crocheting, and traveling. She especially loved being with her family.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Jankovic of Freeport, IL; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Kurth of Warren; sons, Al "Hippie" (Stephanie) Coglianese and Joe (Tam) Coglianese of Janesville, WI; seven grandchildren; and sisters, Erna Buchwald of IL, Rose (Bruce Drane) Fritz of Stockton, and Marianne Smith of St. Charles, IL. She is preceded in death by her father; husband, Al; son, Tony; and brother, Steve.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Upon her wishes, no services are being held.
