Lonna Peters , age 47, of Moncks Corner, SC, formerly of Lena, IL, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in Charleston, SC surrounded by her family. She was born on January 3, 1975 in Rockford, IL to Ronald Ware and Sharon (Moore) Saponari. Lonna married Seann Peters on February 22, 1997 in Freeport, IL.

Lonna was a graduate of Mt. Morris High School. She was very active in the MS community and spent a lot of time volunteering. She enjoyed playing computer games and baking.

She is survived by her husband, Seann Peters of Moncks Corner, SC; her mother, Sharon (John) Saponari of Sycamore, IL; her father, Ronald (Christine) Ware of Mt. Morris, IL; her grandmother, Lorna Snapp of Mt. Morris, IL; her sons, Brandon, Justin, Kyle and Adam, all of Moncks Corner, SC; her brothers, Derek Ware of Loves Park, IL and Chad Ware of Oak Park, IL; her mother-in-law, Marlene Brotherhood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Noel Peters.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton at 3:30 p.m. with a visitation beginning at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established.
