Marion I. Guenzler , age 84 of Massbach, IL passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, IA. He was born September 9, 1934 at the home farm in Massbach to the late Edmund and Ella (Hess) Guenzler. Marion married Joyce Endress on April 17, 1959 at St. John Lutheran Church of Massbach.

He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Massbach and served in the U.S Army from 1957 to 1959. Marion lived and breathed farming. He farmed his family dairy farm his whole life and collected model tractors. Marion was a family man and was so proud of his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Guenzler of Massbach, IL; his daughters, Lisa Sisti of Williamsville, IL, Julie (Michael) Yuswak of Savanna, IL, and Joy (Matt) Hoffman of Chatham, IL; his son, Dennis (Maggie) of Elizabeth, IL; his sister, Marlys Zink of Warren, IL; and his brother, Ivan (Kathy) Guenzler of Stockton, IL; his grandchildren, Jonathan and Tyler Sisti, Benjamin Yuswak, Rebeccah (Josue) Quintana, Jacob (Chelsea) Guenzler, Marie Bender, Sarah (Cody Johnson) Guenzler, Ella and Ava Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Blaine. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Irma Beyer, Loris Beyer, and Edna Hickman.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at St. John Lutheran Church of Massbach at 11:00 a.m. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at St. John Cemetery in Massbach. A memorial fund has been established.
