Mark J. Bertucci Sr., age 55 of Apple River, IL, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Lena Living Center in Lena, IL. He was born January 13, 1958, in Chicago, IL, the son of James and Diana (Lubawy) Bertucci. He married Janina Schneider on August 21, 1995 in Chicago, IL. Mark loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Janina; two daughters, Jessica & Christina Bertucci; four sons, Mark Jr., Michael, Jimmy, & Anthony Bertucci; three grandchildren; his mother, Diana; his sister, Sherry Hubbird; and his brother, James Bertucci, He is preceded in death by his father and son, Joey. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Apple River, IL. There will be a one hour visitation before the service starting at 9:00 AM. Internment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Apple River. A memorial fund has been established.
