Michelle R. Schreiner's Obituary
Michelle (Grindey) Schreiner, age 41 of Stockton, IL, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at OSF St. Anthony in Rockford, IL. She was born April 3, 1973 in Freeport, IL; the daughter of Michael and Nancy (Rollinger) Grindey. She graduated from Warren High School in 1991. Michelle married Gary Schreiner on November 11, 2006.
She enjoyed bowling and camping & sports with her children. She was an avid racing and Chicago Bears fan. Most of all, Michelle loved spending time with her family and would do anything for them.
She is survived by her husband, Gary of Stockton; her parents, Michael and Nancy of Apple River, IL; daughter, Mercedes Schreiner; sons, Shawn & Kyle Jo Knauer and Erick & Cameron Schreiner; sister, Joan (Duane) Banderet of Dakota, IL; several aunts & uncles; many nieces & nephews; and numerous cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clifford & Pauline Grindey and Eldred & Shirley Rollinger.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 15 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 16 at 11:00 AM at the Apple River Event Center; Pastor Brenda Morris presiding. Interment will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Warren, IL. A memorial fund has been established.
