Myrna C. Sukut , age 83, of Shannon, IL passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at home surrounded by family. She was born June 29, 1940 in Crandon, WI to the late George and Lola (Evans) Fredrick. Myrna married Eugene Sukut on May 27, 1960 in Hibbing, MN.

She had retired from Elkay after 25+ years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Sukut of Shannon; her daughter, Laura (Tim) Gross of Freeport; her sons, Gene Sukut of Lanark and Michael Sukut of Shannon; her grandchildren, Josh, Bryttani, Brycelin, and Layne; her great grandchildren, Timmy, Paisley and Jameson; her sisters, Phyllis, Leone and Geneva; and her brother, Rick. She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

A private family service will be held. A memorial fund has been established and can be sent to Myrna's son, Michael Sukut, 213 S. Stanton St. Shannon, IL 61078.
