Patsy J. Hermann, age 48 of Freeport, IL, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at home. She was born December 30, 1964, the daughter of the late Russell and Patricia (Bigelow) Petta. Patsy and Quin Hermann have been together for 16 years and were married in Kona, Hawaii on September 18, 2011. She enjoyed watching Quin's bands and taking pictures for them. Family was the most important part of her life. She spent a great amount of time giving advice to her children and their friends, hoping to teach them important life lessons. She was a mother figure in many lives and was an all around caring person to everyone. Patsy is survived by her husband, Quin; daughter, Alexandra Snyder of Freeport; two sons, Cody and Josh Snyder both of Freeport; step-son, Jared Trampel of Freeport; grandson, Killian Snyder; grandmother, Nina Petta; sister, Brenda (Brian) Haugh of Freeport; and brothers Russell and Randy Petta both of Freeport. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Schwarz Funeral Home 608 S. Park Blvd, Freeport, IL, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM followed by a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM. A memorial fund has been established.
