Perry L. Clark, age 69 of Stockton, IL passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at home. He was born May 5, 1945 in Champaign, IL; the son of the late Delbert and Lillian (Thorington) Clark. He was a graduate of Dixon High School. He married Ruth Ann Smith on March 25, 1966; she died September 1, 2006.

Perry farmed most of his life and had worked at Burgess Battery and Star Manufacturing. He also drove a cab for Freeport Cab Co. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Perry loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter, Alena (Michael Jacquette) Schaney of Stockton; son, Rick (Beb) Clark of Adams Friendship, WI; five grandchildren, Cole, Cael, Camryn, Maranda, and Hayley; four brothers, Delbert (Dorothy) Clark of Cookeville, TN, Jack (Judy) Clark of San Antonio, TX, Bill (Carolyn) Clark of Sterling, IL, and Gary Clark of Sterling, IL; and half-brothers, Vern, Charles, Dale, Jack, Gary, Bill, and Buddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; daughter, Sara; son, Paul; granddaughter, Morgan; and sisters, Mary and Betty.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL. A memorial fund has been established.
