Reggie Allen Dittbenner Sr., age 34 of Citra, FL, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born July 27, 1979, in Rockford, IL. He married Jennifer Overman on June 12, 2002 in Fernandina Beach, FL. He was a landscaper and machinist. He loved riding his motorcycle, the outdoors, and was a thrill seeker. His family was the most important part of his life. He was a proud father, wanting his sons to be there best in every aspect. Reggie is survived by his wife, Jennifer; mother and father, Debra & Roy Hackbert of Rockford; father, Roger Dittbenner Sr.; father, David Rollinger of Apple River, IL; grandmothers, Helen Hackbert of Rockford, IL and Shirly Rollinger of Dodgeville, WI; four sons, Reggie Allen Jr., Brandon Lee, Cameron Mitchell, and Lukas Draven; four sisters, Tracy (Ruben) Vidal of Rockford, Chrystal Hackbert (Jay Lancewicz) of Rockford, Rebecca Uglade of Freeport, IL, and Rachel Davis (Damion N. Croix) of Freeport; five brothers, Roger Dittbenner II of Rockford, Robert (Vi) Dittbenner of Pecatonica, Ryan Hackbert (Michelle Ruttman) of Rockford, David Rollinger of Madison, WI, and Dawson Rollinger of Apple River, IL; sister-in-law, Rhonda Norris; brother-in-law, Jeff Norris; several loved cousins, nieces, & nephews; and God son, Wyatt & Family. The funeral service will be held Monday, September 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Julian-Poorman-Welte Funeral Home. There will be a two hour visitation before the service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Cedar Bluff Cemetery in Rockford. A memorial fund has been established.
