Robert M. Tylutki, age 76 of Lake Carroll, IL, passed away at home Monday, July 28, 2014. He was born January 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL; the son of the late Mitchell and Ann (Sintich) Tylutki. Bob was a 1955 graduate of St. Patrick Catholic High School and had served in the United States Air Force. He married Arlene Forg on November 16, 1957 in Lansing, MI.
Bob had worked for the La Grange State Bank in La Grange, IL for many years and later for Countryside State Bank in Countryside, IL where he served as President. He was a member of St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Shannon, IL. Bob enjoyed the outdoors; hunting with friends and co-workers; fishing with his granddaughter, showing her how to clean fish; and golfing with his son and grandson, teaching him how to golf. He loved spending time with his family at the lake.
Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arlene; daughter, Tamela (Geoff) Small of Hinckley, IL; son, Mitchell Tylutki of La Grange, IL; four grandchildren, Brittany Small, Ryan Small, Daniel Small, and Rebekah Small; sister, Judy (Greg) Bogdanski of Downers Grove, IL; nephews, Paul (Stacy) Bogdanski and Greg (Dawn) Bogdanski; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Pearl City, IL. The funeral service will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Wendelin's Catholic Church in Shannon, IL. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL on Monday, August 4, 2014. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice Care of America.
