Obituary

Ronald E. 'RBBroshous 71, of Stockton died February 14, 2012 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport IL. He was born December 23, 1940 in Freeport the son of the late Elwood & Marjorie (Raab) Broshous. He had attended schools in Nora, Warren & Stockton. On September 26, 1959 Ronald and Janice Keeffer were married at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Stockton. His memberships include Holy Cross Catholic Church where he was baptized into the Catholic Faith on May 17, 2006, & the Knights Of Columbus of the Trinity Council, Farm Bureau, Red Wing Collectors Society and the Teamsters Union. Ron had owned Broshous Trucking and worked for Kasper and Moring Trucking, prior to that he had hauled milk onto Kraft Foods for 40 years. He enjoyed going to auctions, collecting crocks, playing cards, visiting friends, traveling extensively, spending winters in Texas and hunting when he was younger. Survivors include his wife Janice, Daughter Robin Broshous of Stockton, Son Mike (Cindy) Broshous of Waukee, IA, Sister Diana (Terry) Larson of East Troy, WI, 9-Brothers; Danny (Sharon) Broshous of Stockton, Rod (Katheryn) Broshous of Stockton, Jim Broshous of Stockton, Warren (Berniece) Broshous of Shannon , Dave (Diane) Broshous of Stockton, Dale Broshous of Lena, Mark (Nadine) Broshous of Mt Carroll, Rich Broshous of Stockton & Greg Broshous of Stockton. 2-Sisters In-Law; Joan Bonvillain & Barbara (Duane) Kuhl of Stockton, 2-Brother In-Laws; Bill (Eileen) Keeffer of Stockton & Tom (Julie) Keeffer of Renton, WA, Aunts & Uncles, Cousins, numerous Nieces & Nephews . He was preceded in death by his Parents, Daughter Patricia, Brother Jerry and Father In-Law Chet Keeffer & Mother In-Law Millie Keeffer, 2-Brothers In-Law Ron Keeffer & Charles Bonvillain. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church where visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his memory.
