Rose A. Morhardt , age 89, of Elizabeth, IL, formally of Stockton, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017 at home. She was born in Stockton on March 31, 1928 to the late Elmer and Doris (Bartch) Zink. Rose married Harold Morhardt on September 21, 1950. He passed away May 27, 2003.

Rose was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Massbach. She farmed with her husband and cleaned houses. She enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles, word searches, quilting, gardening, embroidering, and feeding and watering the birds.

She is survived by her three sons, Duane (Mary Ann) Morhardt of Elizabeth, LaVerne (Paula) Morhardt of Stockton, and Michael (Deborah) Morhardt of Great Falls, MT; her daughter, Lynn (Wayne Jr.) Schultz of Stockton; nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Doris; her husband, Harold; her sister, Donna French; her brother in law, Jim French; her two sisters lost in infancy; and her grandson, Jacob Morhardt.
