CHADWICK, IL 'Rusty Russell Bruce Greene Jr. 53 of Chadwick died Friday, October 14, 2011 at the University Of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. He was born April 15, 1958 in Savanna, IL the son of the late Russell & Edna (Shaw) Greene Sr. Rusty was a 1976 graduate of Savanna High School, he had served in the US Navy on board the USS Saratoga. Rusty married Donna Jean (Posey) Wichman on December 24, 2000. He was an electrician and had worked at the Byron Nuclear Plant and Dura Automotive in Stockton where he had been vice president of there Union and presently at RockTenn in Clinton, IA. He had studied to be a Evangelicalist while in Tennessee. He enjoyed Ham Radio his call sign N9PEG now silent also refurbished computers for Veterans, he was known for fixing the unfixable. His survivors include his wife Donna Jean, daughter; Carrie Greene of Clinton, IA, 3-step sons; Jeremy (Alice) Wichman of Rockford, IL, Doug (Julia) Wichman of Phoenix, AZ, Adam (Ashley) Wichman of Ridott, IL, 4-sisiters; Rosemary Stewart of Richland Center, WI, Rita Stewart of Fulton, IL, Nancy Greene of Amarillo, TX, Peggy Greene of Montana, brother Randy (Sherry) Greene of Richland Center, WI and 9-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton, IL where visitation will be an hour before and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday.
