Sue R. Roberts , age 65, of Stockton, IL passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017. She was born on May 8, 1952 to the late Gilbert and Lois (McKillips) Coppernoll. Sue graduated from Stockton High School in 1970. She married Darrell Roberts on January 24, 1970 in Platteville WI. Darrell passed away on May 29, 2012.

Sue farmed her entire life. She was a member of Schapville Zion Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Home Extension, and Greenvale Neighborhood Club. She was also a 4-H leader for many years. Sue enjoyed gardening, writing, poetry, drawing and baking pies and cakes. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Lynn Roberts-Henderson of Glencoe, IL and Jean (Daniel) Pehl of Freeport, IL; her grandchildren, Aim'ee Henderson, Seth Roberts, Joshua Dearth, Cora Jean Pehl, and Rebecca Pehl; her sisters, Ann Coppernoll of Stockton and Gail (Warren) Pollard of Rockford. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Lois and her husband, Darrell.
