Thomas "Tom" Jay Arand
, age 55 of Stockton, IL, passed away Friday, May 08, 2015 in his parents' home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 18, 1959; the son of Leonard and the late Judith (Fischer) Arand. He was a graduate of Stockton High School.
Tom was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton, where he enjoyed being with his church family. He also enjoyed riding his bike and playing video games. He loved animals and listening to music.
Tom is survived by his father, Leonard (Sharon) Arand of Stockton; brothers, Brett (Tonya) Arand, Steve Arand both of Stockton, and Brian Weyh of Fithian, IL; and sisters, Teresa Arand of Freeport, IL and Dawn (Joe) Clinton of Byron, IL. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; mother, Judith (1976); and aunt, Rita Eisenbise.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 am at Wesley United Methodist Church in Stockton. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established.
