Vernon L. Schultz , age 91 of Lanark, IL passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling, IL. Vernon was born on April 23, 1929 to the late Floyd and Hazel (Dean) Schultz. Vernon married Beth Bast on September 30, 1950 at Cherry Grove Church where they worshiped together for many years. Beth passed away November 27, 2019.

Vernon farmed his whole life. He was an all-around handyman who worked hard and cared for others.

He is survived by his sons, Gerald (Anne) Schultz and Ronald Schultz; his daughter, Vicki (Stan) Toepfer; his 9 grandchildren; his 14 great grandchildren; and his two sisters, Verla Lohman and Verneice (Gerald) Turner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his brother, Virgil; his sister, Viola; and his granddaughter, Kristy Pierce.

A private family service will be held. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
