Wesley John Endress' Obituary
Wesley John Endress, age 95 of Stockton, IL, passed away Thursday, January 08, 2015 at Presence St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL. He was born September 17, 1919 in Elizabeth, IL; the son of the late Charles and Fannie (Keller) Endress. Wesley married Dorothy Albrecht on January 7, 1944 in Massbach, IL. He had served in the United States Air Force during WWII.
Wesley was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton. His memberships also include the Stockton American Legion and the JoDaviess County Board. He drove school bus for 20 years and also sold monuments and real estate. Wesley enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and especially loved his peach tree.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Dorothy Endress; sons, Phil (Linda) Endress of Centerville, IA and David (Paula) Endress of Bolingbrook, IL; grandchildren, Nathan, Aaron, Bryan, Tony, and Dave; and great grandchildren, Levi and Cole.
He is preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Christ Lutheran Church in Stockton. There will be a visitation before the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Ladies Union Cemetery in Stockton. A memorial fund has been established.
