Wilma E. Jensen, age 100 of Stockton, died Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Stockton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 2, 1912 in Green Island, IA, the daughter of Earl and Bessie (Hatfield) Lingle. Wilma married Harold Jensen on January 1, 1930 in Clinton, IA; he died July 11, 1985.
She had farmed with her husband and together they enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, and gardening. She especially loved being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Bernieta (Leonard) Klaas and Carol (Cecil) Hand, both of Stockton; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and her great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two great grandchildren, two sisters, and two brothers.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Hermann Funeral Home in Stockton. There will be a one hour visitation before the service starting at 9:30 AM. A memorial fund has been established.
