William Hermann
Owner/Funeral Director
Bill graduated from Stockton High School in 1980. He then attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science and graduated with the class of 1983. Bill took over as owner of Hermann Funeral Home in 1990. Since then, he has expanded the business to the Pearl City and Shannon Communities.

Julia Hermann
Funeral Director
Julia graduated from Stockton High School with the class of 2013 and went on to attend Highland Community College of Freeport. She then received her degree in Mortuary Science from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, IL. Julia served her apprenticeship working alongside her father, Bill, and sister, Justina. She is also currently working with Justina at Walker Mortuary of Freeport and serves as a Deputy Coroner for Jo Daviess County.
Julia resides in rural Stockton with her husband, Brock, and their children, Layla, Lucy, and Leo. They enjoy working on their farmette and spending time with their family. They both were raised working in their family businesses and are pleased to serve in their local communities.
Julia brings with her years of experience in the funeral profession and has been brought up with the same ideals and compassion that have been handed down through the generations of the Hermann Family since 1900. She looks forward to carrying on the traditions of diligent, honest, and warmhearted care that our communities have come to know and expect over the last 125 years.

Upon graduating, she received the Laura B. Worsham Memorial Award in recognition of achieving the highest g.p.a. in Business and Funeral Home Management. In 2013, Justina became certified as an Aftercare and Grief Facilitator.
In 2017, Justina purchased Walker Mortuary of Freeport and the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Dakota. She continues to work alongside Bill and Julia at the Hermann Funeral Homes and also serves as the Coroner for Jo Daviess County.
